With an eye on the 2014 general elections the political parties have already started to clamor for media bytes and winning the confidence of the public that they never had or will have in the future unless a miracle occurs.Every now and then a party gets elected just because 'the people' of this 'great nation' do not have an alternative, they have to choose from which one is the better thief or more so a bad one at stealing public money.
There is no doubt that the now broken NDA works better than the UPA in terms of development and growth, but the problem here is the infighting inside NDA, in NDA every party and even the individuals within a single party fight to get into spotlight and want to grab positions of power while its counterpart UPA does little developmental work but stands united in times of crisis and obey the orders of what is now famously called as 'The Party High Command'.
The major party of the UPA is quite clever.Whenever its leaders the so called 'Party Spokesperson' make a statement in media and the statement is praised by everyone 'The Party' claims credit for it, while if a statement that causes public uproar;'The Party, distances it from its 'Spokesperson' and deems the statement as a personal remark and has nothing to do with the party thus rendering 'The High Command' safe.
The BJP is at least honest with its statements made by its spokespeople and claims them and if they lead to a public out-roar issue an apology. The main problem inside the BJP is that it can't keep its cadre together as in the case of UPA;which works under a centralized leadership. The answer to BJP's search for a leader lies within its own party. The name that resonates with development 'Narendra Modi'. I may sound a bit biased but it is the truth in the present scenario.
The infighting inside the BJP is often fueled by the congress which is actually afraid of Modi and has just one case against him which it repeats n number of times 'The Godhra riots of 2002'.Modi might have erred at some stages in the past and had made some mistakes but it does not take away the credit from him of all the work that he does for the development of Gujarat. Also the so-called secular parties are not as secular as they seem to be,they had made their own mistakes in the past even more unforgiving than Modi's,they just call them secular so as to win the votes of minorities i.e.,they play vote bank politics and are actually the least secular parties as they have to rely on such dirty politics to garner votes, rather than showing the people the developmental work they have done.
The BJP should stand behind NaMo united and support him, because his style of working is the need of the hour, the youth likes him, even the minorities of his state are happy with his work and feel the safest as compared to any other state in India. With due respect to BJP's senior leaders who still want to be PM-candidate for the next elections please don't feel offended but NaMo is the best option available and come what may if he wins ultimately its you guys who will get the power as is the case with UPA,whoever be the PM;its the High Command that governs every decision.Stay united even if JD('United') may have left you stop the infighting and become a bit 'secular',as fighting only for the cause of majority will not be sufficient
as our great nation is truly great and does not deserve to be divided on bases of religion.
In-fact every political party should rise up from the dirt of vote bank politics and give back the people a much deserved scam-free developmental government which is truly of the people and for the people.
But as the old adage goes-
"Politics is an art of taking votes from the poor, money from the rich and promising each of them to offer protection against the other; The middle class is just a mute spectator and does the work of pointing fingers and playing the blame-game,but will never stand up to lead the change..."
